The Confetti Showcase 2009
Thursday 18th June
11am-1pm Student Exhibition @ Confetti
An exhibition of the best student work of the year, including: films, animations, remixes, classic music productions, game concepts and sound installations. Meet the students that created them and hear about their work and ambitions. A free event, open to all guests, students and parents.
2pm-5pm Confetti Oscars @ The Broadway, Tickets £3 from Reception, (not on sale yet)
A glittering awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements of Level 4 Music Technology and Level 3-4 Media students. Hosted at the Broadway, with a champagne and canapé reception in the Mezzanine bar. Open to all Level 4 Music Technology students and Level 3 + 4 Media students, plus up to two guests.
6pm-7pm Degree Show @ Confetti
A showcase of work representing the culmination of years of learning, creativity and development from our top tier of students. Guests from throughout the Creative Industries will be there to network with the students / graduates and sample the talent of the future. Parents of exhibitors are also welcome and refreshments will be provided.
8pm-12am EM Summer Ball @ The Rescue Rooms, Tickets £3 from Reception, (not on sale yet)
Join the bands from the EM label for the annual Summer Ball. Featuring, ‘The Amateurs’, battle of the bands winners ‘13th Hour’ and a special performance from the signed act ‘Euler’.
Plus a DJ performance from Milk and Honey. Open to all Confetti students aged 18+.
