Final Fantasy XIII Pushes PS3's Limits

OMG, it's finally here:

Square Enix has claimed that the forthcoming Final Fantasy XIII will use "nearly 100%" of the PS3's hardware specifications.
Speaking to gaming magazine Dengeki PlayStation 3, FFXIII producer Yoshinori Kitase revealed the team are now "finishing up the tail end" of development.
Kitase also claimed the game's demo, which is to be released in Japan on April 16, will use around 50% of the PS3's power.
"Of course, I think the retail version will make use of nearly 100%," he added.
However, the producer pointed out that the console's Blu-ray drive will work to limit any disc swap issues with the game.
Final Fantasy XIII is scheduled for a Japanese release during the second quarter of 2009.
