Digital Communications Webcast

This week is a bit special. You will be allowed to stay at home during your digital communications and watch a webcasted lesson instead. Here you will be able to ask questions, take notes and enjoy the session from the comfort of your own home.
To watch the webcast is easy, you must simply go to the url in your email (no downloading required) You may be asked for a password. The password is in the email that I sent to you.
If you are in GS8-1, your session will take place on Friday from 3pm-6pm.
If you are in GS8-2, your session will take place on Thursday from 2pm to 4pm.
To get your register mark, you must pay close attention as follows:
GS8-1: You must respond to webcasts by IM at the following times – 3pm, 3.55pm, 4.45pm, 5.15pm
GS8-2: You must respond to webcasts by IM at the following times – 2pm. 2.45pm, 3.15pm, 3.45pm
The webcasts will not go on for the whole duration – they will be cast at half hourly intervals for a period of no less than 15 minutes at a time like so:
GS8-1: 3pm, 3pm, 3.45pm, 4.30pm, 5.15pm and a sign off at 5.59pm (for about 1 minute)
GS8-2: 2pm, 2.45pm, 3.30pm and a sign off at 3.59pm (for about 1 minute)
Please note that Jamie Cash is aware of what is happening and he will be furnished with a list of who has attended the webcast sessions and who has not. Those who fail to attend the session will lose a register mark and will thus face a pre-stage 1 disciplinary meeting, or for those already on a disciplinary this will result in your attendance average making that sharp incline, something that I’m sure you are keen to avoid.
